Dr. Liebenson is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chiropractic, Division of Health Sciences at Murdoch University, Perth Australia and consultant for the Murdoch University and the Anglo-European Chiropratic College M.Sc. program in Chiropractic Rehabilitation. The first ever chiropractic member of the McKenzie Institute (U.S.) Board of Directors, he serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals including the Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation; the PM&R  Journal of Injury, Function and Rehabilitation; the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy; and Journal of Manual Therapy.

Dr. Liebenson is the first health care provider to receive a Certification of Recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) on Achievement of Recognition for Delivery of Quality Back Pain Care. He is actively engaged in ongoing research on the spinal stabilization system as a Visiting Scholar at Pr. Stuart McGill’s Spine Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Waterloo. He regularly assists Pavel Kolar in his courses and has worked with both Dr. Karel Lewit and Pr Vladimir Janda beginning in 1987. Dr. Liebenson publishes extensively and is the editor of  the book/DVD Rehabilitation of the Spine: A Practioner's Manual (2nd ed), 2007.

He has had books published into Spanish, Greek, Korean and Japanese. He was the team chiropractor for the N.B.A. Los Angeles Clippers from the 2006-2007 season until 2009-2010 seasons and is currently a consultant for the M.L.B. Arizona Diamondbacks and Athletes Performance International.

Freelap track and field

 

The Freelap Timing System is an easy-to-use, fully automated timing system that is designed for a wide variety of training scenarios.  Freelap can be used to time fly-in sprints, splits, block starts, tempo runs, recovery times, laps, long and triple jump runway speed, football combine 10 and 40-yard dash,  and agility patterns, to name a few. Topic: Multijump Exercises:  Applications for Teaching, Training, and Rehab

Irving "Boo" Schexnayder is regarded internationally as one of the leading authorities in training design. He, as co-founder of SAC, brings 31 years of experience in the coaching and consulting fields to the organization.

Most noted for his 12 years as a member of the Track and Field coaching staff at LSU. Schexnayder, who coached collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette and Blinn Junior College prior to arriving at LSU, placed quite an imprint on the collegiate track and field scene. Regarded as one of the world’s premier field event coaches, he was the mastermind behind 19 NCAA Champions during his collegiate coaching career. He was a part of 12 NCAA Championship teams and a pair of Juco National titles, as well as developing a host of conference champions and All-Americans.

Schexnayder has also been a prominent figure on the international scene, having coached triple jumper Walter Davis to multiple World Championships, and long jumper John Moffitt to a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He also tutored former US Long Jump Champ Brian Johnson, Miguel Pate, ranked 6th in the world in 2008, and US Indoor Champ Jeremy Hicks. He has coached 10 Olympians, and has served on coaching staffs for Team USA to the 2003 Pan Am Games in Santo Domingo, the 2006 World Junior Championships in Beijing, and was the Jumps Coach for Team USA at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

As impressive as Schexnayder's accomplishments are on the track, he has been just as successful off the track. He is certified at Level I, II and III, and owns the prestigious Master Coach Designation from USA Track and Field. He has formerly served as national chair of USATF's Coaching Education Committee, Jumps Subcommittee chair, and chair of the Biomechanics subcommittee.

Schexnayder currently serves as the Director of the Track and Field Academy, the educational branch of the US Track and Field and Cross Country Association. He also instructs biomechanics, training design, and event specific courses in the Academy and chairs it's advisory board.

An educator by profession and a mentor of hundreds of coaches, he has been very active in curriculum development for Coaching Education programs, and has lectured nationally and internationally on speed/power training programs, biomechanics, track and field specific training and rehabilitation. He has authored several publications covering these topics.


He has also been very active in the consulting field, working in NFL player development and combine prep from 2002 to the present, and consulting for individuals, high school programs, collegiate programs, and several foreign NGBs in the areas of training design, jump improvement, speed training, rehabilitations, and specialized programs for football, basketball, soccer, golf, and volleyball.

Prior to his collegiate and international career, Schexnayder was a successful mathematics teacher and prep coach at St. James High School for 11 years, coaching football, track and field, and cross country.

The Vacherie, La., native was class valedictorian at St. James High in 1979, and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Nicholls State University. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in physical education in 1983 and later added a master's degree in administration and supervision in 1988, again earning cum laude honors.

Alan Grodin has 37 years of experience as a clinical physical therapist.  A nationally renowned, master clinician, Alan is recognized as one of Atlanta’s leading physical therapists.  Especially respected for his expertise in spine-related physical therapy, Alan commonly treats Atlanta Hawks players and has treated the Atlanta Ballet.  He is currently in private practice as the President/CEO of Sovereign Rehabilitation, in Atlanta, GA.  He has also been an instructor with the University of St. Augustine since 1979.

Alan Grodin is a graduate of Downstate Medical Center in New York and completed graduate work in Kinesiology at New York University.  He has lectured internationally in the area of soft tissue and joint mobilization.  His publications include: Myofascial Manipulation: Theory and Clinical Management, Soft Tissue Mobilization, Sports Injury Management: A Quarterly Series, a chapter on Soft Tissue Mobilization in Rational Manual Therapies and a textbook: Myofacsial Manipulation: Theory and Clinical Application, published in 2011.

Christopher M. Powers, Ph.D., P.T. is an Associate Professor in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy and Co-Director of the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Southern California.  His primary research interests are concerned with the kinematic, kinetic and muscular actions associated with human movement, the pathomechanics of orthopedic disabilities, and issues related to rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Powers is an active researcher, and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles.  He frequently lectures both nationally and internationally on topics related to lower limb biomechanics and the pathomechanics of orthopaedic disorders.
